Farmersville Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade 2023
Quick Facts:
The parade will be on Saturday, December 09, 2023 at 6:00 PM, and judging of the floats will begin at 5 PM.
There will be a FUN "RUDOLPH" Run the morning of the parade!
PLEASE READ THE CHECK-IN INFORMATION AS WELL!
? The theme of the parade is A "SUPER HEROIC" Christmas
? An entry fee of $5 for those registered by Monday, December 4th
(The money collected will be given to a local organization or cause in our community, with the recipient to be announced soon! Last year we were able to donate over $300 to the Citizen's Assisting Farmersville Police because of these contributions!)
? A LATE ENTRY FEE of $10 will occur for those wanting to register after 12.04.2022
(You will be invoiced within a week of submission. Make checks payable to FARMERSVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE or pay through the online invoice, once received)
Local Non-Profits and First Responders will be sponsored, and will not receive an invoice.
? Entrants are encouraged to use music (live or recorded)
? NO candy may be given out or thrown from floats, or vehicles. Candy given by hand from walkers is acceptable.
? DO NOT have a Santa on individual floats. There will only be one Santa, and it is reserved for the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce to provide
? Floats can be NO TALLER than 13 feet (from the ground to the highest point of the float)
? NO open flames, keep wires, cords, lights, generators, and materials safe and secure.
? Please have a fire extinguisher readily available.
? Judging will be based on the following:
? Theme (A "Super Heroic" Christmas)
? Lighting
? Music
? Entertainment value
Judging will start at 5 PM, the parade will start at 6 PM.
Thank you for your participation and support, as our community grows, our priorities are to keep this a safe, family-friendly event! The ENTRY FEE and LATE REGISTRATION FEE is to encourage participants to register before the week of the event date so that we may accommodate you all and get the most communication out to the public, prior to the event! As well as being able to give back to our local organizations!

Parade Lineup Information: Sign In, Line Up, Have Fun!
Please line up on Farmersville Parkway starting at 3:30 PM.
PLEASE CHECK IN WITH US AT REGISTRATION WHEN YOU GET HERE.
ENTER THE PARADE ROUTE TO REGISTRATION FROM HWY 78, EAST ON TO FARMERSVILLE PARKWAY.
ENTER at Farmersville Parkway and S. Hamilton Street.
Please STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE to get lineup information. We will line you up as you get here!
DRIVE CAREFULLY— watch for kids, horses, and pedestrians.
Judging will begin at 5 PM in the lineup. You will need to have your entry ready with lights on and music playing (if applicable). Please also make sure your number is always visible on the front left side.
There are several areas to view the parade including where the parade starts on Farmersville Parkway at S. Washington Street, to N. Hamilton Street where the parade ends. See blue dotted line for route.
1ST and 2ND place certificates will be awarded in the following categories:
Motorized Vehicles & Golf Carts
Marching & Walking Groups
Floats (Trailer) and Equestrian
The winners will be notified the Monday following the parade, and the announcement will be posted on our social sites that same week.
